Michelle has been part of Pegasus Feeds for nearly 20 years. As part of this role, Michelle manages our equine feed sector and provides extensive nutritional support to our products and clients. She conducts nutritional consultations for horse owners and professionals, such as breeding farms, and equine centres, using our dietary analysis service, which involves analysing rations and making recommendations to horse owners. She also is involved in the ongoing management of feed formulations in the mill and takes a keen interest in developing new product formulations. She is a regular guest speaker on the topic of equine nutrition at equine clubs, equestrian bodies and equine organisations. She has conducted lectures on equine nutrition to veterinary students at Murdoch University and was a guest speaker at the Equine Veterinary Association Western Australian conference in 2009. Her role also encompasses the provision of dietary analysis for out-patients from various veterinary hospitals. Her background has largely involved equine nutrition research company, Kentucky Equine Research, and she works closely with Dr Peter Huntington in Australia. She has attended many nutrition conferences in the US and has traveled to Malaysia to provide nutritional support to clients.  Michelle holds a bachelor degree in Equine Science and is currently undertaking a Masters degree.

Kentucky Equine Research (KER) is an internationally recognised equine nutrition research and consultation company, that services both the feed industry and the horse owner. KER conducts equine nutritional research studies on their purpose built farm in Kentucky, USA. They use this research to consult to feed mills around the globe on feed formulation. In Western Australia, KER works exclusively with Milne Feeds to formulate the high quality range of Pegasus horse feeds. Together, Milne and KER provide WA with readily available, locally produced, top quality feeds that incorporate the latest research and production technology.
